#ERASMUSDAYS: scientists, students and teachers of the Polytechnic shared their experience of participating in academic mobility programs

On October 15, the National University "Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" joined the celebration of #ErasmusDAYS 2020 in Ukraine. Young scientists discussed their own successful cases during the Round Table "experience of participating in Erasmus+ programs" and supported the festive flash mob.
Research and teaching staff and the Council of young scientists of the National University "Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" celebrated #ErasmusDAYS 2020, discussing successful cases of those who have already taken advantage of the opportunities of the Erasmus+academic mobility programs. Due to quarantine restrictions, the event was held online. Erasmus+ is the European Union's 2014-2020 program that supports projects, partnerships, events and mobility in education, vocational training, youth and sports. During the Round Table "experience of participating in Erasmus+ programs", representatives of the Polytechnic shared their own stories. The event was attended by representatives of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine – Svitlana Shitikova, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine and the national team of experts on higher education reform (EU project) and Veronika Tkachenko, manager of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine.
"Participation in such joint events opens up new prospects for cooperation with international partners, providing students and teachers with the opportunity to take part in mobility projects that reveal the advantages of European integration processes. Polytechnic students have an excellent opportunity to study at leading European universities, scientists join joint scientific projects and international research. Join the large Erasmus + family and the National University "Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic, where favorable conditions have been created for the harmonious intellectual and spiritual development of students," Svetlana Sivitskaya, candidate of Economic Sciences, Vice – Rector for Scientific and International work of the National University "Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", congratulated them.
Interesting educational cases were presented by:
- "Experience of participation in Erasmus + projects" – Irina Chernysh, Doctor of Economics, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Finance, Economics and Management of the National University " Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic»;
- "Implementation of the Jean Monnet project" energy efficiency challenges: cooperation between Ukraine and the EU " – Kseniya Chichulina, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of economics, entrepreneurship and marketing, Chairman of young scientists Council of the National University "Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Project Manager Jean Monet;
- "Experience of participation in individual Erasmus+ grant programs" – Tatiana Lvovskaya, Candidate of technical sciences, Associate professor of the Department of highways, Geodesy, Land Management and rural buildings of the National University " Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic»;
- "Participation of the National University "Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" students in Erasmus+ mobility programs", – Yulia Soloviy, coordinator of the International Department of the National University" Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic".
Speakers spoke about foreign research internships and training, excellent conditions for presenting achievements and results of cooperation with foreign partners, and shared life hacks.
The UKRAINIAN ERASMUS + MARATHON is held on October 15-17 as part of the #ErasmusDAYS 2020 Global Initiative.
Among the co – organizers is the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine together with the Erasmus Student Network – Kyiv (ESN-Kyiv) with the support of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine, the executive agency for Education, Audiovisual Media and culture (EASEA) of the European Commission, the Embassy of France in Ukraine, the Office of the Vice premier for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine, the National Agency Erasmus+ in Italy, The Information Center Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps in Ukraine, eurodesk-Ukraine, eTwinning plus in Ukraine, leading Ukrainian universities, youth and public organizations.
Participants of the events discuss the impact of the results of the Erasmus+ programs on the development of Ukraine, present their own vision of the success stories and practices of the European Union's Erasmus+program.
