II INTERNATIONAL UKRAINIAN-AZERBAIJANI CONFERENCE "BUILDING INNOVATIONS - 2019". SECTION: ENERGY EFFICIENT ECONOMY IN UKRAINE, AZERBAIJAN AND THE EU PROBLEMS OF PRESENT AND FUTURE
On May 23-24, the 2nd International Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Conference "BUILDING INNOVATIONS-2019" took place at PoltNTU. Two days on the basis of the university, scholars from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Croatia will exchange experience and discuss current issues and prospects for the construction industry. Conference section: "ENERGY EFFICIENT ECONOMY IN UKRAINE, AZERBAIJAN AND THE EU: THE PROBLEMS OF PRESENT AND FUTURE" was held within the framework of the planned measures of the Jean Monnet module of the European Union Program Erasmus +: The Challenges of Energy Efficiency: cooperation of Ukraine with the EU.
The section was devoted to the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Jean Monnet European Program. The program, opened in 1989 this year, celebrates its 30th anniversary with a large luggage of experience and experience in education and research in European policy and dialogue between university representatives, politicians and civil society around the world.
The main purpose of the conference section was, in particular, in the determined state and optimal ways of solving energy efficiency problems in various sectors of economy of Ukraine, Azerbaijan and the European Union; development of project approaches to attract financial and technological resources for solving energy saving problems; identification of problems, formation of strategies and perspectives of energy saving in Ukraine, Azerbaijan and EU.
In total 170 participants participated in the conference section, among them 31 doctors of sciences, 78 candidates of sciences, postgraduate students, students. Abstracts were sent from 10 cities of Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Croatia.
The participants of the Jean Monnet module presented the project and presented key challenges of energy efficiency in Ukraine and the EU, which will allow to approach the EU standards in the sphere of energy saving as much as possible in the future.
